Dear Guests and Travelers.

We would like to thank you for your support and concern during all those difficult days when we face a wildfire in the southern part of the island.

Our hearts and thoughts are with those affected, and from the start we have joined the local community’s efforts in any way we can.

The Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel is perfectly located in the center of Rhodes Town, the northern part of the Island, 60km away from the affected areas and our operation has not been disturbed.

We are expecting that certain concerns might arise under such circumstances. Your government’s travel advice and airline updates should always be taken into consideration before travelling. However, we would like to reassure you that your safety is always our top priority along with our aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for your stay.

Today, the island of Rhodes is fully operational, and thousands of visitors arrive daily.

All the social and touristic activities on the island continue without disruption.

All facilities, excursions, shops, and services are functioning as usual.

We are waiting to welcome you to your dream holiday destination and we remain at your disposal for any information or assistance needed.

With our compliments.

The BWPlusPlaza Team

Environmental Fee

As of January 1, 2024, all hotels in Greece are required to implement a new environmental fee defined as the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee. This fee was established under Article 30 of Law 5073/2023 and replaces the previous Accommodation Tax.

The fee is to be paid by guests staying in hotels, furnished rooms/apartments (rooms to let), and short-term rentals. Accommodations are responsible for collecting this fee from guests and remitting it directly to the tax authorities.
